John Narvaez + Liz Rojas (USA) - International Guest
John Narvaez and Liz Rojas are world salsa champions and acclaimed dance instructors. They are known for their hypnotic performances that are marked by high levels of grace, speed and technical difficulty.
They are equally acknowledged for their ability to provide fresh, accessible and entertaining salsa dance instruction for the social dance environment. John and Liz are also the founders and directors of the San Francisco Bay Area-based Salsamania Dance Company.
They have taken themselves along with their dance company to the top of the world's competitive mambo/salsa dance scene by ranking in the top three in the "On 2" couple division at the World Salsa Championships and taking first place in the team division at the World Latin Dance Cup.
Shani Talmor (USA) - International guest
Born and raised in Israel, Shani has travelled worldwide presenting her sensual and sexy Salsa style. Trained in a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Samba, and Afro-Cuban, Shani is an energetic and explosive dancer. She is world-renowned for her unique, sensuous styling and body movement.
Shani has a powerful stage presence and a passionate love for teaching. At the age of 20, Shani moved to Spain in order to further enhance her dance career and become part of the world-renowned Salsa dance company known as "Imperio Azteca" directed by Johnny Vazquez and Ramon Morales.
After only one year in the company, Shani became Johnny's permanent dance partner and the group's principal female dancer. She continues to be one of the most memorable former dancers in the company.
In 2007, Shani moved to NYC to be part of Caribbean Soul Dance Company directed by Ismael Otero. In addition, Shani has been requested by choreographer, Sekou Mcmiller in September 2008, to join his Latin Jazz project "Proyecto Descarga". And in the end of 2010. Shani was asked to perform and been training with the Mambo King himself, Eddie Torres.

Super Mario has been a household name on the international Salsa scene, recognised and respected by students and fellow professionals for his amazing lead, unlimited database of fantastic moves/combinations and his teaching ability. His classes and workshops have always been extremely popular both in the UK and in countries as far as Australia, Japan and the USA, specialising on technique but always maintaining an element of fun.
Mario has earned himself the title Million Moves Man through his ability to create any number of unique combinations, that are lead with expertise and are always comfortable to follow. His dancing style is smooth but fast, giving him and his dance partner extra freedom to improvise. His amazing presence on the dance floor sets him apart as a social dancer and his outgoing, energetic personality has also been instrumental in getting him known in the Salsa World.
As a seasoned dancer, actor, choreographer and teacher, Alexander Bryan has performed professionally across many facets of the entertainment industry. Coming into prominence in 2004, Alexander appeared on ABC's Strictly Dancing, creating great excitement and controversy as he danced his way to the Grand Finals with Adam Francis, cementing them as Australia's favourite same sex dance duo. Following this success, he went onto perform on Channel 7's "Dancing With The Stars", alongside celebrity partner Kate Langbroek. Recent theatre credits include the National tour of "The Boy From Oz", and playing the lead role of Romeo in the World Premier of "Matalor".
Dancing professionally since 2003, Alex has won multiple national titles and including placing 1st in the teams division at the Aceki World Salsa Championships in Hong Kong. Alex extends his passion for teaching as Director of Melbourne's hottest semi professional dance group, "Flavoured Rhythm". He is currently appearing as a contestant on Channel 10's "Everybody Dance Now".
When he's not dancing, Alex produces, directs and choreographs acts for corporate entertainment, floorshows and theatre. Described as an "exceptionally entertaining" Master of Ceremonies, he's a hit at local and national events, with an ability to connect with any type of audience.
Alex started dancing at the age of 3 studying Calisthenics, Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, Funk, Neo-classical, Lyrical, Song and Dance, Burlesque and Broadway. During her training, she competed in over 80 various competitions around Australia. She was introduced to Reggaeton, Samba and Zumba in 2010 and has never looked back.
Alex began teaching dance at the age of 12. She taught all the styles she was trained in and took her students around Australia to compete.
This year Alex opened her own dance school "Breathe Dance Studio". She is teaching a mix of commercial and Latin styles, including Burlesque, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Jazz, Samba and Lyrical.

Alisson Sandi + Audrey Isautier
Alisson is from Brazil, Sao Paulo. When he arrived in Perth in 2007, he shook the Latin dance world. He is an integral part of the Juan Rando Dance Academy as the main Brazilian Dance Instructor where he teaches Brazilian Zouk, Samba de Gafieira, Argentine tango, Salsa, Forro and Axe. Alisson is also qualified in Salsa On1 and On2, Bolero, Tango, West Coast swing, and more. Having taught a variety of these styles in Brazil and around the world he is a great asset to the dance scene in Perth.
In 2009 he was specially invited to choreograph a group Zouk routine for the Australian Dance Festival. Alisson then spent 2 months in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand teaching, performing and choreographing. While in Singapore, Alisson choreographed the first zouk team in Singapore (for Two-Left Feet School). In 2010 Alisson also choreographed the first Forro Team to perform at the Sydney Salsa Congress which was a great success with the public and promoting Brazilian dance styles.
Alisson created BRAZUKA DANCE, the Brazillian style which Alisson heads for Juan Rando Dance Academy. He is an aspiring and ambitious man with a forward view towards making the Brazillian Rhythms a huge success everywhere he goes.
Audrey is a recognized Brazilian Zouk dancer living and working in Perth Western Australia. Born in Reunion Island, she began to dance at the age of 3, with a background in contemporary, ballet, jazz and Bharatanatyam (traditional Indian dance) and she has performed and danced with many different companies around Reunion.
In 2010 Audrey travelled to Brazil to learn from some of the best Brazilian Zouk and Samba de Gafieira dance instructors. She is renowned as one of the best Zouk dancers and Zouk teachers in Australia, where she has not only gained valued experience, but also enormous recognition and respect from her fellow teachers and students alike. She has performed in Australian and a number of overseas countries and has had the opportunity to travel and teach dance workshops in Singapore, Dubai as well as Brazil Central 2010 (Brisbane) and the Sydney Salsa Congress 2011 (Sydney) offering students more technique and styling.
Since arriving in Australia in 2007, Allan has taught, choreographed, DJed and/or performed in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Canberra, and internationally in New Zealand, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates. Well known for his fun teaching style and smooth moves, Allan is also recognised as one of the main promoters of Zouk and Samba de Gafieira in Australia.
Allan Dantas started dancing in Brazil in the year 2000 in Brasilia, the capital city of Brazil. With a background in Zouk, Salsa, Samba de Gafieira, Bolero, Forro, Tango, Soltinho and Cha Cha, Allan started his teaching career in 2002 as a trainee instructor for Salsa, Samba de Gafieira, Bolero and Zouk.
His first national performances were at the Brazilian Salsa Congress in 2001 and 2002.
International performer, instructor and choreographer Amit Arora, has been dancing Zouk since 2004 when it first got introduced in Sydney, Australia. Later he founded his own Zouk team - Zouk Sensation.

Ben Benedictos is a performer, choreographer, coach and instructor. He is a versatile male dancer located in Canberra, Australia. He founded one of Canberra's leading Latin dance groups, the Canberra Latin Project (CLP).
Ben has over 12 years dance industry experience and is well regarded for his detailed choreography, performing abilities and contribution to dance in Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Philippines. For the last eight years Ben has directed some of the major Latin dance festivals and competitions in the ACT, contributing to a revival of Latin dance in the region.
His high level of experience and knowledge in Latin Dancing has led demand for judging competitions, including: National Salsa Championships, the Australian Salsa Classic, Australian Bachata Championships and Canberra Celebrity Ballroom dance competition. He has also coached and trained some of Canberra's top competitors and instructors.

Ben Brillante + Diala Raad
Ben Brillante and Diala Raad began performing together in 2007. They ran their first bachata performance group in 2008, which has since evolved into what is now known as "Bachata Con Sabor". Their latest choreography to the song "Tu Y Yo" by Toby Love has seen their style come into light in the Australian bachata scene. They performed it in competition at professional level at the 2010 Australian Bachata Championships and with the Bachata Con Sabor team at the 2011 Sydney Salsa Congress. Their sultry, sexy and romantic style of bachata has earned them recognition as two of the leading bachata instructors and dancers in Canberra.
From a young age Diala has been very musical, and in 2004 she found a passion for dance as a new way to express herself musically. She has since explored various styles of dance from ballroom to rock n' roll but in more recent years has focused on salsa and bachata. She is drawn to bachata music for its emotional and passionate elements; this is reflected in her choreographies and social dancing. She is grateful to have been given the opportunity to contribute to the development of bachata at this year's festival.
Originally from the Philippines, Ben was raised around family and friends who trained in music and dance. In 2004, he was introduced to Latin dancing and began training in Sydney with Platinum Salsa, then continued with Salsabor when he moved to Canberra in 2005. With a background in music, RnB and Hip-Hop dancing, he quickly established an understanding of the Latin rhythms and before long became one of the sort after dancers and instructors in the Canberra Latin scene. Ben is known for his friendly, fun and high-energy personality both on and off the dance floor. He loves all forms of Latin dancing and in particular, bachata for its rhythmic footwork, passionate interpretation and sensuality.
Ben and Diala both teach and perform with Salsabor and have performed at numerous Latin events nationally and overseas.
From competing, performing to business and development, Brooke is a true professional in the Australian Dance Industry. Starting her career over 16 years ago in some of Melbourne's most prominent dance studios, Brooke has developed herself along with numerous dancers in Australia.
Some of her credits include winning three state titles, current director of Melbourne Dance Hub, qualified Pilates instructor plus numerous national and international performances. In 2013 she shared the stage with the ELA dancers as part of The Cat Empire's live shows and music videos.
Renowned for her high energy and ability to captivate an audience on stage, Brooke has climbed the ranks within the Salsa industry. Brooke's passion for Salsa has seen her train with some of the worlds best including 2 x world champion Anya Katsevman, Mariano Neris and Thomas Guerrero (Santo Rico dance Company NYC). This passion has also lead to the stage in New York City where her choreography was performed in front of the World's best at the Big Apple Salsa Festival.
Christian Szilagyi + Elysia Baker
One of Australia's finest new couples to hit the stage. This unique partnership of Hip Hop dancer and Ballerina is not afraid to push the boundaries with their dynamic style, featuring a diverse repertoire of choreographies. Based in Melbourne out of Spin City Dance this couple are no strangers to the stage; having being involved in all of Australia's major congresses as well as performing internationally in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and New York. Christian and Elysia's amazing stage presence, precise technique, body movement and perfect lines mixed with their easygoing attitudes makes them not only fantastic performers but fun instructors that leave you demanding more.
Debby is the director of the longest running Salsa school Latin Energy Productions in Brisbane. As a performer, instructor, choreographer and DJ she has travelled the country and the world. She frequently travels both nationally and internationally as a much sought-after performer, instructor, choreographer and DJ.
Debby has a master certificate in teaching Salsa which she obtained in the USA. Her fun, vibrant way of conducting classes and her attention to technique, musicality and styling has helped her to achieve her reputation as a respected professional instructor, and has led many of her students to become big names in the Latin dance scene.
Debby is also known as DJ Debelicious, one of the very few female DJs in the Australian Salsa Scene. She has been invited to DJ at numerous national Latin festivals and events, as well as Internationally South East Asia, New Zealand, USA.
Debralee's love of teaching dance started whilst training to become a ballerina when she was given many opportunities to teach ballet classes from tiny tots (babies) to teens going through intense training for their difficult RAD Ballet exams.
Since then Debralee has taught at various dance schools and high schools in Sydney preparing students for their Annual School Concerts and Ballet Exams.
It was early in 2008 that Latin Dance Australia invited Debralee to become a part of their Professional team. They also gave her the opportunity to pass on her technical knowledge to the team where she took them through the intensive training she underwent for years to becoming the versatile and disciplined dancer she is today.
Debralee has the ability to teach any age at any level - her true love is to dance and teach in order to pass on and impart her knowledge to other aspiring lovers of dance.
Debralee has performed at many events including the Sydney Salsa Congress, Darling Harbour Latin Fiesta, the Latin Dance Australia Ball, the Australian Dance Fetsival to name a few, and in 2006 won the Best Brazilian Afro Performer Award and in 2008 receiving the Best Overall Performer Award.
She also travelled to Korea to compete in the Gangnam International Dance Festival in 2008 with the Advanced Samba Swat Team.
Debralee has also expanded her repertoire by embracing Salsa, Zouk, Reggaeton Bachata and many more as well as her serious and passionate commitment to teaching Samba.
Erico has been dancing, teaching and performing Salsa, Merengue, La Rueda and Tango in Canberra for the past 12 years.
He is a qualified dance teacher in street/club Latino style and has been admitted to the Arts Theatre Dane Society of Australia (ATD). He is registered with Ausdance and a member of the Federal Association of Teachers of Dancing (F.A.T.D).
He is currently the principal of Salsarico Latin Dance in Canberra. He teaches Salsa from beginners to advanced level and choreographs dance performances with his dance students.
Erico won 1st place along with his dance partner in the regional selection for the Victorian Championship held in Melbourne in April 2003. The competition was under the International Dance Organisation (IDO) rules.
Erico is passionate about Salsa and he believes that Salsa is a way of life. 'Dancing Salsa is about feeling the rhythm of the music, connecting with your dance partner and dancing as one'.
Graeme Haney - DJ Mambo G
Popular international instructor and DJ, Graeme Haney, aka 'Mambo G' (from the UK) is one of Australia's most well known personalities within the Latin dance scene.
He was one of the first to teach the linear (LA) style and shines to the Australian salsa community.
In the UK he could be found playing at many salsa venues throughout Central England earning his reputation for playing a wide variety of both new and classic Salsa.
He prides himself on his musical flexibility, keeping dance floors busy, and enjoys tapping into a crowds 'flavour' while taking them on a musical rollercoaster ride! With a personal passion for the 'jazzier' end of the Salsa spectrum Graeme has picked up the nick-name 'Mambo-G'.
He has been DJ-ing in Australia since Jan 07, and since then his reputation has rapidly grown for playing and popularising this genre of Salsa and Mambo.
Graeme has also DJ'd for the Sydney Salsa Congress which has always been well received.
He founded House of Mambo in 2006 after returning home to Australia from the UK. With 12 years international teaching experience, he has held numerous workshops in Sydney over the years where he has taught the majority of key figures in the Sydney Salsa Scene (Latin Motion, LDA, Club Salsa, Ruedisima, Salsa Republic , Mambo Lounge etc).

John Cole - DJ JC Bachata
John started DJ-ing in England on a number of radio shows.
After coming to Australia his passion for dancing Salsa and Bachata quickly grew into a deep love for Latin music.
JC has been DJ-ing in Australia since 2011, and has quickly gained a reputation for playing a strong selection of upbeat Salsa, Bachata and Zouk. His focus on romantic Bachata, with a LA/Urban flavour has attracted a lot of interest in Sydney. And, his growing passion for Zouk music has helped him keep dance floors full at Zouk venues across Sydney.
JC is a resident DJ at Salsa City in Surry Hills, an event which has quickly become one of Sydney's most exciting salsa nights, Zoukchata, Tropical Soul Salsa and Bachata nights, and Sydney's Best Social Dancer 2013, Salsa, Bachata and Zouk rounds.
Josie has been dancing as soon as she learned how to walk, and has an extensive training in Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop and various other dance styles. She discovered Latin dancing in 2005 and immediately immersed herself and fell in love with it. She will be recognised on the dance floor by her amazing body movement and her flawless technique in Salsa, Mambo, Bachata and other Latin dances. Juan is responsible for the Bachata craze in Australia as 2004 saw him in a new country and culture when he arrived in Sydney, only to find the dance he was most passionate about was a taboo, never played in nightclubs or taught at dance studios. Inspired as no one else can be with Bachata, Juan started running classes and workshops, as well as promoting Bachata music to various influential DJ's, Nightclubs and Latin Events. It was from there his fame as 'El Bachatero' grew quickly making him the best know Bachata Instructor in Australia and New Zealand. From then on, Juan became one of the most influential Bachateros in the world. He has taught hundreds of workshops throughout the world (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, France, USA and more) and performed at prestigious Latin events around the world. Juan is also one of the organizers of the successful 'Sydney Bachata Festival' and he's the director of Bachateros Online Magazine, one of the first web portals dedicated to Bachata only.
Juan's is the pioneer of the Bachata Moderna movement and his syllabus and moves are being used around the world. With the growth and evolution of Bachata music, Juan has ensured that the dancing evolves as well. Kadu is an accomplished Brazilian teacher-performer who boasts a dance resume brimming with first class credentials. He has taught at Brazil's most respected dance academies, including Rio de Janeiro's Jimmy de Oliveira, Alex de Carvalho, and in Parana at Espaco Latino and Estetica Ghor Academies. He has a wide variety of television, festival, special event and professional appearances to his credit, and has completed studies in Advanced Zouk, Advanced Salsa, Advanced Samba, Samba Rock, and Contemporary Ballet with leading Brazilian dance teachers.
Kate is the Director/Choreographer/Instructor of Subsdance Dance Studio (www.subsdance.com.au) founded one year ago in Canberra. After teaching throughout Canberra, Kate opened Subsdance to share her passion and personal touch to make a difference with her students. Kate has been a dancer for 21 years and has extensive experience in not only Latin dance styles but Commercial Jazz, Broadway Jazz, and Funk.
Kate has performed with artists such as International DJ act 'NASA' (who worked with Kanye West) and Brazilian Fantasy (Sydney). She has choreographed and performed a number of times at the Sydney Salsa Congress and Adelaide Salsa Festival, as well as teaching workshops at these events.

Larissa is talented dancer who started her dance studies at the age of nine, and completed a professional dance course in 2002, followed by tertiary studies in dance at the University of Arts of Parana. She is a former member of El Paso de Danca, and has taught contemporary and classical ballet, and contemporary dance at various academies in Rio de Janeiro.
She started her studies in Brazilian partner dance at Carlinhos de Jesus', Jaime Aroxa's and Jimmy de Oliveira's Academies in Rio de Janeiro, and has since joined Jimmy de Oliveira's Dance Company as a performer and instructor.
Luis Belleza - DJ Coco
Luis Belleza a.k.a DJ Coco a Peruvian born Australian has Latin music in his blood. His career in the Latin industry began as a singer and percussionist in small Latin bands in 1995.
Not long after, he then started to DJ for weddings and birthdays. In 2001, DJ Coco formed Coco Entertainment and took over Western Sydney's biggest Latin party at the time, "Latin Nights" at Marconi Club alongside CRUZ Promotions. DJ Coco partnered Ronnie Entertainment for the next two years to organise "Salsa On Sundays" at Port Orient, Darling Harbour.
Since then, DJ Coco has also co-organized many international artist's concerts (such as Rafaga, Sonora Carruseles, Fruko, Fulanito, Proyecto Uno, Huey Dunbar to name a few), as well as the Official Sydney Fiesta After Party's and the First Sydney Bachata Festival in 2007.
In April 2006, DJ Coco was approached by Martini Bar, where he created one of Sydney's biggest Sunday nights, 300 plus dancers filled the dance floor every Sunday for 3 years. In the same year he began teaching and perfroming Bachata and Cuban Salsa with Picante Latin Dance. After his training at Picante he then moved on to work with Salsa Republic in 2010.
2012 is a new beginning for DJ Coco as he has just started his own school "URBAN LATIN DANCE", teaching Cuban Salsa, Bachata and Zouk.
He continues to Organise Salsa Nights and Zouk nights and is a regular Dj at Main Events such as The Sydney Bachata festival and the Sydney Latin Festival.

Mario Gordon + Becky Fleming
Mario and Becky are the owners of Kokoloco Dance Studio in Canberra ACT and have been teaching, performing and promoting Reggaeton together for over three years.
Becky originally from a Contemporary dance background has also trained and toured professionally in Mexico and the USA.
They have presented workshops and performed at the Adelaide Salsa Festival, Sydney international Bachata Festival and Sydney Salsa Congress in Australia. They are becoming well recognised for their sexy and energetic style of Reggaeton and dedicated to bringing this sexy style to more dance floors across the world.
Mario is also a Latin musician and DJ having worked professionally in Panama, USA, Spain and Australia, sharing his love for all Latin and Jamaican styles.
Once Martina started dancing, she decided to take her passion for Latin dance as far as it could take her. In the last couple of years, Martina has been a member of the - Modus Vivendi/Latin Dance Australia Pro Team l Latin Dance Australia Pro Samba Team l LDA Teaching Staff team.
As an avid competitor, Martina has achieved multiple successes and National Titles with her teams since 2011 including National titles in Salsa, Bachata, Samba and Shines. In 2012, Martina was part of the Modus Vivendi Ladies team who represented Australia and placed first at the World Latin Cup held in Miami, USA.

Her specialties are Salsa, Bachata and Samba but she has been dancing since the age of 4 in styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, and JFH. She has represented LDA and Modus Vivendi in Thailand, New Caledonia, Malaysia, competing in the World Salsa Championships in the USA and various events across Australia.
Since 2012 she is a lead performer and choreographer for Zouk Sensation. Awards: Australian team Bachata champion 2009 and 2010, 6th in the world salsa championships 2009.

Nathan been performing, instructing, competing and choreographing Salsa, Bachata, Reggaeton and Hip Hop for the past 6 years. His performances and choreography's have featured at various events and venues locally and internationally.
Most recognised for his enthusiasm, fusion of latin and street styles and his ability to be versatile, Nathan has become an integral part of both the performing and teaching fraternity in Australia.
Also thriving on music in general he has fast become a sought after Latin DJ in the Melbourne Salsa scene regularly playing at Salsational Richmond town hall, Mambolita parties,Melbourne Latin Festival and his newest event mad About mambo. In his regular mixes you can be sure to hear his blend of New York, Jazz and Puerto Rican Style Salsa/Mambo and some Bachata, Cha, Zouk and Reggaeton.
Nestor Manuelian + Katrina Quintal
Synonymous with Bachata and Salsa in Australia, Nestor (one of the founders and Directors of the Sydney International Bachata festival) and Katrina have taught Salsa and Bachata all over the world and Australia.
Nestor of Uruguayan and Katrina of Portuguese descent, they are Australias first and prominent bachata exports, they have represented Australia in San Francisco, Los Angeles,Atlanta, Chicago, Bali, Malaysia, Singapore, Auckland, Hong Kong, Rome, Milan, London, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and the list goes on.
Nearly every corner of the world has been exposed to their funky and fun style of Bachata which encompasses many styles fused to make them one of the most versatile bachata couples in the world.
Recognised for energy, flair, fun and musicality in their choreographies, Nestor and Katrina are multiple AUSTRALIAN Bachata and Salsa, ASIAN Salsa and now also ACEKI WORLD BACHATA CHAMPIONS 2012!
Their Workshops are 2nd to none as their uncanny humour and amazing teaching ability always leave their students on high having learnt and had great fun at the same time!
Rachel Gilliland - (Ireland)
What could be said about Rachel Gillland, a girl without any fears probably sums her up the best. Just by watching her amazing aerial lifts, twists and dives, will leave you wondering how did she do that? Audiences that have seen her performances have said "she has so much conviction, style and passion onstage that I don't want it to stop, I want to see it again and again", she never misses a beat a truly an amazing performer to watch.
Rachel was born in Dublin, Ireland and is daughter of Ireland's very first National Ice Dance Champion. She has recently moved to Australia to visit family in Perth and to establish a new dance career in Melbourne. Rachel explored physical art from an early age including Irish dancing, ballet and gymnastics.
Whilst on a trip to Cuba an informal lesson with a bar tender led to an addiction to Latin dance. Since then, she has not looked back. In 2011 she became Irish salsa champion with Venezuelan partner, Michael Estrada Espino.
This high flying artist has now teamed up with one of Australia's leading aerial performers and instructors, Steve Maltezos. Together they will be showcasing and sharing their talents teaching and performing internationally.
Raquel + Peter Ricciardo
Raquel has been dancing salsa for over a decade, and has found her love in NY style On2 (mambo). Raquel has choreographed/performed for the 2006 Los Angeles West Coast Salsa Congress. In 2007, she taught salsa in London for the Latin Dance Collective Team. In 2010, she performed and choreographed for the New York Salsa Congress.
Raquel began her official dance training in Los Angeles in 2003, and has since furthered her training in New York, South America, London and Europe. Raquel now owns one of Canberra's most successful Latin dance schools, which has a strict curriculum for all salsa levels which has raised the standard of Canberra's dancers.
Peter is one of Australia's most sought after male on2 mambo dancers. He has a very unique smooth style which is great to watch. He met Raquel in 2006 in London, brought together by their love of mambo, and married in Canberra in 2009. Peter and Raquel's style complement one another. Whilst Raquel has a developed her own distinctive repertoire of shines, Peter has developed an array of enviable on2 turn patterns. Their connection is not only seen on the dance floor, but also when they teach. Together they make a strong salsa duo.
Roberto is one of Australia's most exciting Artists and DJ's. Roberto is the 2008, 2009 and 2010 QLD State Salsa Titles Champion in the Professional On2 Division and went on to win the Australian Salsa Classic in the On2 Division in 2010.
His unique style, musicality and body movement makes him one of the best Mambo/On2 dancer's in Australia.
Sandra's love for performing has also encompassed an ardent love for dance.
In 2004, Sandra joined the LDA professional team and since then has continued to light up the stage with her infectious smile and sharp captivating performances and great body movement.
Sandra's passion for dance has taken her to various national and international events to represent Australia in Salsa, Samba and Zouk, to events including the Sydney Salsa Congress, West Coast Salsa Congress, NZ Congress and the Hong Kong Salsa Congress, to name a few.
With her bubbly and fun loving attitude, Sandra enjoys dancing a variety of different styles on the social floor and loves mixing it up. She is always ready to take on a new challenge and always searching for new ideas, she loves working with her students and her fellow colleagues in the Pro team.
Sharon is one of Australia's leading ladies in dance. She is recognised around the world for her amazing teaching technique, grace and precision. She is an Australian/Asian Champion. Sharon's love of dance includes mambo and cha cha, always creating memorable routines.
Sharon is known around the world for her unique teaching methods, which emphasize not just dance itself but how to use dance as a tool to enrich one's life in aspects ranging from posture and deportment to engagement and communication skills. Through this, along with her professional achievements, Sharon has helped to put Melbourne and Australia on the world salsa map.
Steve Maltezos has been a force for quite some time now and constantly performs both in his own country (Australia) and around the world. Specializing in a unique athletic dance form he refers to as 'acrobatic dance'. This style involves an integration of circus sports, acrobatic skills, partner lifts and flips, mixed within many dance forms such as Latin, Afro-Cuban, Ballroom and Contemporary.
This has given him the reputation of being part of one of the most amazing, daring and death defying aerial dance acts anywhere!
Steve has also been personally taught by some of the worlds best aerial salsa performers such as Alex Lee and Chi Li (USA), Dave Paris and Zoe Klien (USA), Pablo Biaz and Diana Montoya (USA) just to name a few. He has been dancing the style of salsa for over 7 years now and was personally trained by the world renown Sharon Pakir (Spin City Dance Australia). He currently attends circus classes and workshops (being his passion).
With the knowledge, skill and imagination he has gained, this has given him the insight to be able to teach aerial workshops wherever he performs.
His tricks are 'truly amazing to watch'.
He has performed and competed at many events including the Victoria Australia Salsa Cabaret Champions 2009, 2010, 2011, India International Salsa Festival, Hong Kong Salsa Festival, Malaysian Salsa Festival 2009, 2010, Sydney Salsa Congress Australia, New Zealand Salsa Congress 2009 just to name a few.

Tanya has been dancing since she was 5 years old, including: Jazz, Funk, Tap, Rock 'n' Roll, and fell in love with salsa eight years ago.
Her love and experience for dance has allowed her to incorporate the different styles of dance into her salsa dancing; resulting in a funky, earthy style which is very unique. She is also known as one of the best spinners in the country.
She has performed at many festivals, including the Sydney Salsa Congress, LA congress in 2005, UK congress in 2005, to name a few.
She has also traveled to other international congresses including Puerto Rico and New York.Tanya is all about learning how to bring out your inner groove on the dance floor, and she is very excited to be able to teach you how at CLDF.
Trent Richardson - DJ
No stranger to pumping up big crowds from behind the decks and not 'just another DJ' Trent Richardson has supported some of the biggest international House Djs, Latin DJs and bands at festivals and clubs all over the county.
Canberra based... he is responsible for hosting some of the biggest Latin parties in the nations capital including the hit series of events 'Tropicana' and the weekly Friday Latin club night 'Havana Nights' that has been hitting capacity crowds for nearly 5 years.
Trent currently co-hosts 'Shakedown' the hit weekly radio show on RawFM that goes out to a listener base of approximately 1million people - showcasing the hottest in RnB, Reggaeton and Latino House.
Highly regarded as Canberra's #1 Latino DJ and one of the best in the country, he plays an influential role in setting the benchmark for Canberra's Latin event / party scene and has quickly become well known within the Latin community for the ability to read a crowd and hosting the hottest party atmospheres.
Trent continually supports the Canberra Latin scene by running weekly events that involve local and national talent at his nightclub the MonkeyBAR.
